After deleting bond, the phone keeps asking to pair BLE device every time it sees it advertising

Hi,

I'm using the nRF Connect app on android to DFU my devices.

On some occasions, after doing DFU and unbonding, the phone will keep asking if I want to pair the device every time it sees it advertising.

We use our own app to handle the devices and rely on connections without pairing or bonding, but once this happens with one of the devices, the Pairing notification won't allow the device to properly work with our app, or even nRF Connect, no matter what option we choose (Pair, cancel) the phone will immediately disconnect from the device.

Did you remove the bond on the phone as well?

Yes,

We are doing the following process:

1. Connect to the device
2. Bond
3. DFU via ZIP
4. Disconnect
5. Delete bond

Hmm, I think we should get a sniffer trace of this communication, It would be helpful to know what device issues the pairing request (device or phone), or if there is something else going on on-air. If you don't have a sniffer set up allready you can follow this guide: nRF Sniffer for Bluetooth LE. 

PS: What phone models exhibit this behavior?

It has happened on 

Xiaomi RedMI Note 9T
Galaxy Note 8.

I won't be able to get the trace today, will update the ticket with the trace when it is done.
