NRF52832 AWS FOTA with cellular modem

Hello,

I'm using NRF52832 as a controller for cellular modem and used the AWS IOT supplied with the NRF Connect SDK.

I want to use the AWS FOTA and I'm a bit lost, I added the configuration to my prj.conf from nrf\samples\nrf9160\aws_fota.

I'm not sure if I need to configure more parameters for the bootloader or define memory regions, but now the software doesn't seem to boot at all.

Please advise.

Let me clarify, my question is more related to the bootloader, I want to implement a bootloader for future FOTA (AWS for now).

Are you saying I can't use NCS samples for the bootloader with NRF52832?

Hello, 

What I am saying is that the Serial LTE Modem does not support updating the nRF52832 out of the box. You will need to implement this functionality your self. The nRF Connect SDK uses MCUboot as a bootloader for many samples, and thus should be no issue to use in your application. However, there are no suitable applications/samples in the nRF Connect SDK.
