Stop bootloader mode on USB connection

I'm using vanilla version of the dfu_dual_bank_ble_s110 project on top of my application. The problem is that the firmware enters bootloader mode whenever a USB is connected to the board (pca10028/pca10031).

How do I stop that from happening?

There are no other power sources connected to the board and my application is also on the chip.
