Nordic BLE module + Atmega328p

Hi,

I'm new with BLE development and I'm trying to find a module that can be used with an Atmega328p and libraries that allow me to create a GATT profile (creating services and characteristics).

The other option is to design my own module, can I do this using a pre-certified antenna?

Is there a specific reason you want to use the ATmega328p? The nRF5x series devices are able to add libraries/drivers and create services/characteristics in your application as well. Please check out our 3rd party modules here. We have both pre-approved modules and ones that you can add to your own design.

Is the one I've been using and already tested, I guess I could change the micro. How can I program these nRF5x devices? I tried programming an stm32 but it's a bit tricky for a beginner.  

The problem of 3rd party modules is that it's not so easy to test them, as most of them are difficult to hand solder.

And is there any problem using Atmega328p?

So for example, can I use the atmega for my own code (the project includes some sensor reading) and program a pre-certified module with the nRF52 Dev Kit?

I'm using the Atmega328p in Arduino IDE for reading some sensor data, can I use an nRF52x and VS code (for example) to do the same? I'm worried about this being incompatible in terms of libraries.

I'm checking the nRF52 Dev Kit and the tools needed, is this a good approach? 

Sorry if the questions sound stupid but BLE really is a new field for me.

What kind of sensor is it that you're reading, I assume you have a sensor device as well. What sensor is this and what protocol does it use for communication? The nRF52 series are able to communicate with a lot of sensor devices over I.E. SPI, UART, TWI, etc. and we have libraries for it in our SDKs.

So the system consists of a custom PCB (based on the Atmega328p) and multiple sensors connected via SPI, I2C, Digital and Analog Inputs: IMUs, pressure sensors

I've ordered the nFR52 Dev Kit to test it.
