JLink on Windows for ARM

I tried using the nRF52 dev kit on Windows for ARM, but it doesn't work, because SEGGER don't provide ARM JLink drivers for Windows, and Windows for ARM doesn't emulate x86 drivers (like it does with Apps). I reported this to SEGGER but because I only have a Nordic dev kit (and not a dedicated JLink) they won't raise the issue internally. They said issues with dev kits must be reported to the dev kit manufacturer, and if the manufacturer raises the issue with SEGGER then it will be handled. So would it be possible for Nordic to raise this issue with SEGGER?

Thanks for reporting this. I will start by checking internally if we have discussed this with Segger already, and if not I will reach out to them and hear if this is something they can support.

Segger released an ARM version for Windows, but it only works with their latest generation of dedicated JLinks, still doesn’t work with Nordic DKs

My apologies, somehow I forgot to follow this up with Segger. 

I asked them about it now and got the following response:

The most recent version of the J-Link software package is also available for Windows for ARM and it should already support nRF52DK:

Please note that not all J-Link models can be used on Windows for ARM:
