About the transmitting power of NRF52840.

I tested it in a conductive way.
The transmission power of +8dbm is set on the software.
Remove C3 and L1 and connect the RF line directly to the ANT PIN to test the transmitted power.
According to my understanding, the transmitting power set by the software should be higher than that tested by ANT PIN.
It was found that the tested value was larger than the set value of +8dbm. May I ask why this is?

The PA isn't designed to see 50 ohm on the ANT pin. The matching network transforms the impedance to a 50 ohm so that you can connect a 50 ohm antenna to the radio. Of you remove the matching network, the impedance will not be correct and you measure wrong level. Always measure after C4 with the antenna and any tuning components removed.
