nrfutil on a RPi 4B: Dongle or onboard BLE ?

As far as I understand I should be able to use the nrfutil (6.1.x) on a Rpi 4B to update any of the nordic semi devices nrf5x supporting bluetooth (i my case nrf5340)

Will the nrfutil be able to use the onboard Bluetooth of the RPi or do I need to attach a nRF52840 USB Dongle ?

Are there any existing tutorial/descriptions of how to DFU and normal communication, done from a python script ?

nrfutil is currently supporting the secure DFU protocol in the nRF5 SDK, not det mcumgr protocol we use in the nRF connect SDK. mcumgr has its own CLI tool you can use https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/1.7.1/zephyr/samples/subsys/mgmt/mcumgr/smp_svr/README.html#upload-the-signed-image. It should work with the built-in BT HW provided that you are able to run this tool on ARM (the docs doesn't seem to specify if it is supported or not: https://github.com/apache/mynewt-mcumgr-cli)
