Programmer v2.0.0 fails to upload generated hex file

Hi,

I just downloaded both versions 1.7.0 and 1.7.1. Compiling asset_tracker_v2 right out of the box with  west build -b nrf9160dk_nrf9160_ns --pristine I get the hex files, but when trying to upload app_signed.hex to the hardware, I get the below error. This is despite the fact that I can program pre-compiled img_fota_dfu_hex/thingy91_asset_tracker_ltem_2021-10-20_d29f1dde.hex from the binary firmware zip file.

I have also updated the modem firmware to 1.3.1.

This was a very easy process with SDK v1.6. Has anything changed?

Hello, 

What do you get when using v1.6.x?  Please note that we are aware of some issues with the latest version of nRF Connect for Desktop (v3.8.x and 3.9.0). Can you please test with downgrading to v3.7.1 following the instruction provided in this ticket? You should be able to program using the nrfjrpog command line tool.

I have no issue uploading the HEX files compiled with 1.6.x

I installed 3.7 programmer (v1.4.11), but can't launch it:

I do not have access to the link, can you please upload via Insert --> Image/Video/File ?

Please add the working .hex (v1.6.0) and the non-working .hex (v1.7.x)

Hi, the team has looked at the .hex files and it seems there is an issue with the v1.7.1 file. Will need some more time to investigate. I hope to have an answer by end of this week.

I just read through the original post from you and noticed:

What happens if you build for Thingy:91

west build -b thingy91_nrf9160_ns --pristine
