BLE NUS not compatible in v1.6 for nrf52840 dongle

I tried using the ble nus with throughput using the example from https://github.com/LeoHJX/ncsExp/tree/master/app/ble/throughput_nus. However i kept getting an error on the uart callback set function. I tried the ble nus on v1.5.1 and it works but the throughput example only works on v1.6. What are the difference in the NUS setup in v1.5.1 and v1.6

You mean the uart_callback_set(..) function is returning an error?

This is a part of the UART driver (ie the physical UART connection), not the NUS service. 

Can you please let me know which error code is returned?

For clarity, uart_callback_set() returns an error in v1.6.0, but not in v1.5.1?

Are you sure that the project configuration is the same between the two versions?

Is it possible that the ASYNC UART driver is not enabled?
