S113 softdevice support for Bluetooth 5.2 features

Hi!

I've noticed that softdevice S113 is Bluetooth 5.1 compliant, and that the nrf52 family chips are Bluetooth 5.2 compatible in terms of hardware.

a. Is there any target date for the Bluetooth 5.2 support on the S113 softdevice?
b. The second link (nrf52 family chips are Bluetooth 5.2 compatible) notes that some chip from the nrf52 family do not support AOD, AOA and 125 kbps phy  (long range). Are there any other features which different chips within the 52 family are not compatible with?
c. Do all IC revisions within a specific series (nrf52833, nrf52820 etc) support the same BT5.2 features?

Hello,

I don't have any short answer for you here, because within the nRF52 family there are different variants, e.g. difference in radio features and memory options.

You will need to look at the compatibility matrix for the individual nRF52 device and compare with the softdevice specifications (or the other way around, e.g. first find the softdevice that fit your requirements, and then go the the individual compatibility matrix for each nRF52 variant to find if it's supported or not), e.g.:

The above is correct if you are developing with the nRF5 SDK (e.g. S1xx softdevice), however you can also develop using the nRF Connect SDK (e.g. softdevice controller). In which case you need to look at Table 2 here:
