Different PCA10056 Throughput on different environment

Dear Nordic Team Support,

I am testing throughput on different environments, my goal is to stream data from custom-board to Laptop. I have set up some experiments as shown in the picture, there is a big difference between (nRF52840-DK vs nRF52840-DK) and (nRF52840-DK and Laptop). All my experiments used the same firmware from nRF5_SDK_17.0.2_d674dde\examples\ble_central_and_peripheral\experimental\ble_app_att_mtu_throughput

My Laptop: 

- Firmware Version: HCI 8.4096 / LMP 8.4096

I see there is a difference when testing with Laptop as Center, what is the maximum speed I can stream data from nRF52840-DK to Laptop, do I need to change any parameters?

That depends entirely on the connection's parameters(connection interval, MTU length, Data Length Extension, PHY, etc).

Thanks for the useful information, but before diving into the optimization of those parameters, I just want to compare the same configuration, but I see that the nRF5284-DK center and the Laptop Center are significantly different. Is this unusual? Or am I still missing some information

I struggle to undestand your diagrams, how do you run the throuput test directly on a PC? Do you still use a DK connected to that laptop as the BLE modem or are you using the laptop's onboard bluetooth device?
