Tutorials[Meta]

Hi,

We're working on making some more tutorials, we have some thoughts on what we want to do, but we would really like your input. After all it's you, the user, who will benefit from this material.

What do you find unclear, difficult or would like a more thorough walk-through on?

Best regards,

Øyvind

  • This might be too narrow of a tutorial but I would benefit.

I have designed, assembled and successfully flashed an nRF51822 board using RedBearLabs BLE Nano programmer and mbed. I started with a blinky program and was able to progress to polling I2C sensors, etc. I would like to learn how to do the same using Keil. I set up Keil v.5 and loaded a bunch of nRF51/52 packs, successfully compiled a blink program but when I tried to load the hex file using mbed it didn't seem to work. When I hooked up the nRF51 mkit and tried to load the program Keil complained it could find no J-Link. I got the same complaint when I switched to the nRF52 dev board. I would like a simple tutorial showing how to connect a custom nRF51 board via SWD or J-Link from the nRF51 DK, set up Keil for the appropriate target, compile, flash and debug a simple program. For some reason I find the learning curve for Keil to be very steep. Thanks.
