nRF9160 GPS tracking not using

Hi,

I was evaluating 9160DK. I tried the GPS example using 1.7.1 SDK and it works great outdoor. However, I tried to use a hackRF one to emulate the GPS signal. 9160 shows it's tracking many satellites but not using any of them. Any thoughts what could be the problem?

Hi,

Since it works when you are outside then the issue might be the hackRF emulation of the GPS signal. Can you confirm that the hackRF works with some other device when emulating GPS?

I do not have a hackRF so this is not something I am able to test easily.

Turns out the HackRF One's internal crystal isn't accurate enough, using an external TCXO solves the issue
