Documentation to use iBeacon on NRF51822

Hi there,

I've just bought and received Apple iBeacon compatible beacon on eBay (https://www.ebay.fr/itm/165128797979). I put a battery in it, the LED flashes 3 times and that's it. I have no clue what to do next, I tried NRF Connect and NRF Beacons on iOS, I can't detect the beacon.

The distributor can't help me, he just directs me to the app nrf beacons, doesn't know the UUID, any password if necessary to rewrite configuration, etc… I think here might be the best place to know where to start.

My project is very simple, I have a home-assistant server at home and the app can detect any iBeacon configured (but I need to add the UUID, Major and Minor first). I just need these values and maybe modify them if I buy multiple beacons to scatter around the house. Here is a picture of the beacon.

Hi Max, 
We are not the manufacturer of the beacon that you bought. So we don't know what's running on the firmware of the beacon and how it should work. 
If nRF Connect couldn't detect any BLE activity from the device I think it may not working or you need to do something to activate it. You may need to contact the seller to ask for instruction.

I was hoping I could get something from you as the seller doesn't know anything… When I ask for the UUID, Major and Minor (as least I will detect it without modification), he doesn't know what I'm talking about.
