unable to find or open the jLinkARM dll

Hello,

I am using PCA10040 DK for programming my custom board which is having the NRF52832 controller. Until yesterday afternoon, I was able to program my board using NRFgoStudio.

Suddenly NRF52 dev board stops detecting in the go studio. I had removed nrf command line, nrfgo studio, segger embedded studio, jlink drier and reinstalled all did not worked.

Some time I get the below error.

also I am trying to use the nrf connect to program another device using nrf52 dk but could not able to. If I am programing on chip controller using NRF connect programmer its detecting in select device. When I am trying to program another controller by removing P22 pin from PCA10040, it's not getting detected in NRF connect programmer.

any help will highly appreciated!!!

  • Hi

Please note that nRFgo Studio is very old at this point, and I'd not recommend using it for programming your devices. Have you installed the nRF Command Line Tools on your computer.

You say that you remove the P22 pin on the PCA10040. I assume you have cut the SB9 solder bridge for current measurements at some point, correct? You will need to add a jumper cable on P22 to make the onboard debugger work as intended, so if you remove this, that explains why you're not able to use it as intended. This is stated in the DK user guide here.

To program external devices, you either need to connect it over the 10-pin debug header or with the SWD pins on P20.

    Best regards,

    Simon

  • Hello Simonr,

Yes I have installed nrf command line tool latest version and SB9 bridge also cut on board. Still I am not able to program. I am using P19 connector for programming and using the NRF connect programmer software to doing so.

Kindly guide me through the process of programming as I have done through NRFgo studio but not using NRF programmer.

    Thanks
