SoftDevice to Application layer notification if a scan request has been sent?

Hi,

I was wondering if it was possible to notify the application layer if the central device is scanning and it (the central device) sends a scan request to an advertising device?

Hi,

The sd_ble_gap_scan_start() function will return NRF_SUCCESS when it initiates scanning, but no event will be generated when the scanning request is sent to the peripheral. However, a BLE_GAP_EVT_ADV_REPORT will be generated at the central when the advertising report is returned from the peripheral to the central.
