Hi,

I'm working with the nrf52840, and I've had success with spi communication in the past.
However, I want to switch to spim and am unsure how to do so. Can you provide any example code for spim configuration?
Is it possible to use more than 8Mhz with spim3?

Please check out this case and the answer from Edvin that describes how to enable the SPIM peripheral. You can also check out the SPIM peripheral example project in our SDK. Let me know if you use the nRFConnect SDK instead. 

Correct, specifically the SPIM3 instance is able to run at up to 32MHz, but please note that you should not youse pins with the recommended usage "Standard drive, low freq. I/O only in the nRF52840 pin assignments. These are located close to the radio, and if used at high frequencies while the radio peripheral is running, it will affect the radio performance of your nRF52.
