BL gatt characteristic variable type

Hello,

How can I configure for a GATT characteristic which type will be used.

Without defining it will be a byte array.

I'd like to configure for example an int16 number or int32 number.

I don't know, it is clear what I mean.

By example reading in nrfConnect app the characteristic directly as an int16 as number, not as byte array.
So I'd like to define the format of the characteristic.
