periodic_adv , nRF Connect APP on Phone can'n find by Device Name.

Hi,

nRF Conncet SDK1.7.1, Windows10 X64.

\ncs1.7.1\zephyr\samples\bluetooth\periodic_adv\,

building and debug work well,and i set the device name "PerAdv", then reload project and rebuild it.

but nRF Connect APP on Phone can'n find by Device Name.

Phone App not support it?

if no filtering,I don't know which one is it on the APP.

but can be scan by periodic_sync.

Hi You,

In your nRF Connect for Android app, there should be a button saying "Device information" in a menu besides the settings.
This menu should tell you if your phones hardware supports Periodic advertising or not.

Have a look at the Zephy GAP documentation, and you may find the function you need there.
