Why can Master Control Panel not find my Master Emulator Dongle?

Dear Nordic team,

I have the nRF51-Dongle and would like to use it with master control panel. I did everything like already recommended in this tutorial. The problem is, that the dongle cannot be found by master control panel; the dropdown menu "master emulator" is empty.

Is there a way to solve this issue?

Hi Philip,

What version of Master Control Panel are you using? The tutorial you linked to is getting quite old, I would recommend starting with the ones you can find here on devzone. For getting started with the nRF51-Dongle I think the section on using the nRF51-dongle in this tutorial is a good starting point.
