Regarding sleep and power down

We are using nrf52832 in our one project. we just want to know the power down state. how we will put the nrf in power down and what actually happens in nrf when in power down state. is nordic is always in reset state in power down mode. 

Please also confirm the current taking in power down and sleep state.

Could you let me know which SDK you are using ? (nRF5 SDK or nRF Connect SDK)  
When you wake up from power down (System OFF) mode it will always reset. You can have a look here.

We are using nrf connect sdk.

We understand that when we put the nrf in power down and if any interrupt comes in any gpio than it will reset and wake up.

But my question is that how to put the nrf in power down mode and how many current it will take in power down condition.
