nRF5340 DK kit Debug using SES

Dear, I have bought the nRF5340 DK. I have installed nRFConnector and Segger Studio. Now, I want to test Blinky project. I connected a USB cabel to USB connector which is near power switch. I slide the power switch to USB. Then, what settings are required in Segger Embedded Studio to debug, Run and Program the nRF5340 uisng USB cable ? Is any other debuger also required ?

Hi,

For normal developement, the power switch is usually in the VDD mode.
The USB mode means that the kit gets power from the "nRF USB" connector, beside the LED1-4, marked J3.

For a good tutorial on how to debugging with the nRF Connect SDK, I recommend our VS Code Extension Getting Started video series. Video 5: Debugging is especially relevant here.

If you want to use Segger Embedded Studio for Debugging, it should be straight forwards as well.
First build and flash your program normally to check that it works.
Then choose the "Debug" menu from the top and press "Run".
