Issue running throughput sample on nRF5340DK

Hi, I am using two nRF5340DKs and trying to run the BLE throughput sample. After pristine build, flashing both boards and putting one into peripheral mode and one into central, I run the test with default configuration. However, the throughput is extremely low -- less than 1 kbps, causing the entire transfer to take almost an hour. See screenshot below.

I am using most recent ncs.

Any idea what may be causing this problem?

  • Hi Jason,

I think this may have something to do with the nrf5340DK dual cores. Since it has the network core and application core, maybe when you re-flash , it is not necessary that the network core does not do this. So it would be great if you could check if your child image (hci_rpmsg) is configured with the BLE supports,

If you have a problem even then, could you share a sniffer trace so that we can look into this?

    Regards,

    Priyanka
