nRF Connect Display Connected/Paired devices

Is it possible for nRF Connect iOS app to display devices that were connected/paired through the iOS Settings menu?

The problem I am having is when looking to perform DFU with a previously paired device. When the device turns on, it automatically connects to the iPhone (iOS 14.8) and shows "Connected" in the Settings menu. In nRF Connect it does not appear, and thus I can't initiate DFU. If I perform the initial pairing through the nRF Connect app, I can perform the DFU until the device gets powered off.

  • Hi,

The nRF Connect iOS app is designed to always start with devices that are advertising, and it does not currently support starting to interact with devices that are already connected. So you will have to disconnect (and sometimes "forget") the device, then connect to it from nRF Connect SDK. There is no way around this with the current nRF Connect for iOS.
