SD card on nrf9160DK

Hi again Nordic. I'm using the sparkfun level shifter:

together with Sandisk 32gb formatted to FAT32.

I've tried the fat-fs example and numerous other fixes, such as altering the SPI-speed both in overlay and in sdmmc-config. I've tried a kingston sd-card and another sd-card reader.

Everytime I get error -5, which is an I/O-error. I can't figure this out.

Edit: I should add I've verified the pins with a sensor that works

They are not very active at this moment and time. What voltage are you running on your I/O most sd cards don't accept 1.8v or only 1.8v after sending 3.3v messages first. Super weird.

Hi! I assumed the vdd-ports were 3V3 but maybe you are on to something here. There is a switch on the nrf9160DK that says VDDIO and has two settings, 3v and 1v8. I will try throwing this switch in the morning. Thanks!

Hey, progress! It now detects the card after throwing the switch. It fails on fs_opendir and gives error code for mount point busy. Still, progress. Thank you!
