How to control a node(Server) with several mobiles(Clients) inside the mesh network?

Hello

I am launching a project and I intend to:

Want to use multiple mobile phones and nrf-mesh software, Connect to a mesh server and turn on or off a led

So I connect to a node-server with the first phone and everything works fine, I use the settings menu -> Export, and transfer the .json data to a second phone and I import the file to the second phone.

The second phone show the mesh network nodes and info but can not transmit data and only seems to be connected.

and I use Zephyr BLE Mesh Library.

my question is:

Is the problem with nrf mesh software or my firmware?

Is there a better alternative?

How to control a node(Server) with several mobiles(Clients) inside the mesh network?

Thanks

Milad

  • Hi.

Do you want the second connected phone to also be a provisioner for the network, or do you just want the phone to act as a node in the network?

If you could also add some more info about which phone, os, versions etc. you are using, I can try to get some more detailed information from our mobile developers on what is possible to achieve here.

  • Hi

thank you, Yes I want the second mobile also provisioner.

Well, various Android or iOS devices, my phone is Nokia 6.1, and my friend Samsung A50 and another friend IPHONE 6S. I can now test with these 3 phone models. My goal is to have any 3 models of the phone as provisioner to control the LED(Server-node).
