Hi,

 

Given that pulling the nRESET pin high makes the nRF9160 run, it can indicate a short or something pulling the pin low.

Have you checked the current consumption of the nRF? When both pulling nRESET to VDD, and when leaving the pin unconnected.

What is the VDD provided to the nRF9160?
