Can't upgrade nRF9160 Modem FW beyond version 1.2.3

I'm trying to upgrade the nRF9160 modem FW on our nRF9160-DK.  Programmer v2.2.2 indicates success but the at commands continue to return 

at+cgmr

mfw_nrf9160_1.2.3

OK

at+cgmm

nRF9160-SICA
OK

I've tried both mfw_nrf9160_1.3.1.zip and mfw_nrf9160_1.2.7.zip

Thoughts?

Hi Scott,

Sorry for the long wait. Since it was the weekend, I could only get back to you now. Have you done a modem update before.? Did you follow the steps mentioned in this document and still getting the same result.? 

Note: The "modem update" button is removed in the latest versions of programmer. So you will need to either drag and drop the zip file in the right memory layout or use the "Add files" dialogue and click 'write' instead.

Hi Swathy, That's the method I used. I'm using Programmer v2.2.0.

Hi Scott,

If the programmer shows that the update was successful, then the command should return the newly updated version. I have contacted an expert regarding this and will get back to you as soon as I get a response. Also, in the previous reply, this was the intended document. Kindly take a look at it.
