SofteDivice S140 effect on the nrf52840 Micro frequency

Hi! I measure the micro frequency by Hantek Osiloskop in two-mode.

First, I use a simple Blink without softdevice, reaching 570kHz in 10us.
Second, I use a ble_app_blinky with softdevice, reaching 30kHz in 10us.
Why was my frequency decreased?

Hi,

I am not sure how you measured or how to read your numbers, so please elaborate if you want a more specific answer. In general though, when you start the SoftDevice it will do some initialization that takes time. Also, depending on the configuration and current state, it will use internal RC oscillator or external crystal oscillator, both for the 64 MHz clock and the 32.768 kHz clock. The different clock sources have different accuracy and also different startup times.
