Can we use the Power Profiler kit II to measure the power consumption of the nRF52840 custom Board?

Hi,
We have designed a custom board using nRF52840 SoC, now we want to calculate its power consumption 
I want to ask if we can measure custom board power consumption using Power Profiler Kit II?
If yes what are the connections we need to make so that we can get ower consumption of our custom board?

Hi Moghees,

The PPK 2 can be used to measure current on the custom board using the source meter mode as well. It depends on what you need to do. If you have an external power source (like a battery) you can use the PPK in series with the battery, like an ampere meter as explained before. But if you want to power and measure current at the same time you choose source meter mode. So basically, you can choose either mode to measure current depending on your hardware.
