DMA in I2C for Nordic Connect SDK

Hi,

We want to know more about DMA in I2C,

we are using TWI Master and Slave drivers as mentioned here in this blog https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/guides/nrf-connect-sdk-guides/b/peripherals/posts/twi-ic2-implementation-with-nrfx-twis-driver,

Can you share more about enabling / disabling DMA in TWI Master and Slave implementation, 

Please share sample example code in i2c driver that is implicitly using DMA

Hi,

 

That tutorial describes how to setup with DMA usage, and as there's no i2c-slave port present in zephyr, the i2c slave is implemented using nrfx_twis driver directly.

The TWIM and TWIS peripherals are DMA only peripherals, as you can see in the datasheet for these two peripherals.

 

Can you share more about enabling / disabling DMA in TWI Master and Slave implementation, 

TWIM will automatically shut down after a successful transfer:
