Controller getting reset

Hi,

I am using nrf52840 and power it by voltage 3v using CR123A battery. As per datasheet minimum operating voltage is 1.7V. But i am facing controller reset at 2.5V. What can be the reasons for that.

Hi Sudhir,

2.5V is sufficient voltage for the chip. However what we need to look into here is that if it can provide enough current for the chip or not.
When the radio is active, the chip can consume up to 21.4mA (RADIO) + 6.3mA = 28mA

I assume the voltage of 2.5V you measured was when the battery was depleted ?
