Hardware selection

Hallo Dears,

I would like to develop a ble-peripheral role device with a humidity sensor service. I found the development kits from the nRF5x family such nRF51, nRF52 and nRF53. Which hardware will be more suitable for my application? I would like to consider all aspects such as,

- Avaialbale support (documentation and tutorials)

- Available technical specs (OTA DFU upddate service, Bluetooth 5)

- Software support

Can someone help me to find a better choice for my application.

    All boards are suitable for the sensor application, but there are some differences among them. nRF52 and nRF53 belong to the new series of boards which supports Bluetooth 5 and they are currently recommended to be used with nRF Connect for Desktop SDK. There is extensive documentation covering these boards.
    You could familiarize yourself with the boards by reading their product specifications linked below.

    Many thanks for your answer and also for the links. I have seen many nRF modules available in the market with nRF Micro and other SoCs with third party modules along with Antennas. This is why I asked for the better selection criteria for the sensor device. For example if I am using only on Sensor (Analog) but with updated specification such as OTA DFU, Bluetooth 5 and my own PCB design ..what would you recommend? I feel nRF52 has little more support/tutorials availöable in Internet.
