nrf5 SDK Switching Master/Slave roles, LMP_switch_req?

Hello there, my application needs to switch master/slave roles after the connection established.

As i know, the initiating device will be master every time in BLE. From nrf5 sdk, i using the ipsp_initiator to establish a connection to Rpi Linux host. From linux side, i can't find any appropriate command to switch roles. Since nrf device is master at that time, can i send a lmp switch request from nrf side?

Also do you have any other suggestions for my case?

Hi,

This is not supported by the Bluetooth Low Energy specification. (this role switch feature is Bluetooth BR/EDR only).

Thanks for your answer. Than let me ask, I need more than one device (ipsp_initiator) connect to border router (rpi) but the initiator must be nrf52 device. After one connection, rpi device cannot advertise again, says connection limit exceed. Is there any way to make it work with more than one device?

Might depend on what HW version of the rpi is used, and what firmware it is running. Maybe you could ask in some forum for rpi.
