what is the current consumption for LPUART (when there is no event - let's say it is sleeping) on nRF9160 and on nRF52?

Hi Lorenzo,

 

For all nRF devices, the idle current will be equal to having GPIOTE IN active.

For nRF52840, that is around 18 uA: https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/ps_nrf52840/_tmp/nrf52840/autodita/CURRENT/parameters.i_sleep.html?cp=4_0_0_4_1_0_0

For the nRF9160, I measured a bit lower, 10 uA.
