I am testing nRF5340+nRF21540 with MT8852B now. I come across two issues in running the DTM FW from nRF Connect SDK v1.8.0:
1. nRF21540 TX gain value set by vendor specific command is reset by DTM Test setup command - reset, i.e. 0x00 0x00. This reset command is issued by MT8852B before it starts any TX test. As a result it makes TX test for nRF21540 at different gain setting impossible. Fortunately, antenna selection by vendor specific command can preserve the selection after DTM reset command.
2. As MT8852B's EUT Control Format is Bluetooth 5.1 Control, before MT8852B starts TX test, say 1Mbps BLE standard, it tries to configure test packet with no constant tone extension by DTM command 0x06 0x00, however DTM FW responds Test Status failure, 0x00 0x01 that makes MT8852B stop proceeding the test, test ends unexpectedly.
