Full Kit for Matter development

Hello, I'm doing an evaluation of your development kit for Matter. I see that you recommend the nRF52840 DK does this kit come with everything I need for Matter development, like to set up the weather station or do I need more hardware? Where can I get the complete list of hardware required so that I can purchase it all at the same time.

Hi Ezra

No we don't have a full kit for Matter, as it's hard to define what exactly a full kit is. What peripherals one would need is quite dependent on each use case, and so we recommend using relevant peripherals alongside our DKs, as they're easy to connect peripheral devices to with many GPIOs available from the DK.

I would recommend you buy the peripherals you want to use in your project and take it from there. The nRF52840 DK comes with buttons and LEDS for user interaction, an I/O interface for Arduino form factor plug-in modules, a SEGGER J-Link OB debugger with debug out functionality, an UART interface through virtual COM port, a USB, external flash memory, and support for NFC.
