Full Kit for Matter development

Hello, I'm doing an evaluation of your development kit for Matter. I see that you recommend the nRF52840 DK does this kit come with everything I need for Matter development, like to set up the weather station or do I need more hardware? Where can I get the complete list of hardware required so that I can purchase it all at the same time.

Hi

What nRFConnect apps is it that you need exactly? Are you trying to set up the nRF Connect SDK using the Toolchain Manager or is there some other app you want to use? I'm not sure what other app you would need for Matter development. If you need the nRF Connect SDK, it is also possible to set it up manually by following our guide here.

Hello Simon, thanks for your help. I'm trying to build a Matter application using nRF Connect and Connect SDK. I have installed all the toolchain dependencies and have installed nRF Connect for VS Code. I'm at a point where I have my applications building but now I can't for the life of me get my device to show up in the "Connected Devices" window in VS Code. I have searched everywhere online for a solution, but all the tutorials seem to assume that this just works flawlessly. Unfortunately for me on my Mac it doesn't appear to work at all. I'm blocked at the moment in your OOB development flow. Thanks, Ezra
