BLE qualification with/without a testing process

Hello, 

We are developing a product based on the nrf52840 chip with our own antenna design. we would like to register our product in SIG and obtain a company identifier ID. 

In the product, we are using a custom service based on the NUS service and Softdevice 140_nrf52_6.1.1. 

the question is, do we need to apply the Qualification process with or without the testing required? and what kind of document do we need to give to SIG?  hardware design or software design ...etc?

Hi.

Normally you should be able to go with the "no testing" path. If you are using our Softdevice, followed our reference design etc. you can refer to our QDID for the qualification.

Many thanks Joakim for your reply. So to get a unique company identifier, do we need to qualify our product first. Because now we have joined SIG as an adopter member but we didn't get a company identifier yet.
Another question about assigning our customer service in SIG profile services, does this one need a different procedure to assign our UUID custom service in SIG?

For questions about when you receive a company identifier etc. you should direct that question to BT SIG.
