Does nRF5340 need any calibration in the production ?

Hi, 

Does nRF5340 require any calibration in production line in terms of below items. If so could you share any documents on them

- Gain for the RF front end

- Crystal Calibration for the device

Hey Mathavan, 

No the nRF5340 does not need any calibration. We can do a an RF certification pre-scan of your device, this should give you confidence that the device will pass certification. 

You should make sure to use 1% tolerance, NP0-rated components in the RF and crystal domains however.

Thanks for the update, I was more looking in the line of production calibration like gain adjustment or crystal tuning. So nRF5340 does not need of any of such calibration ?

Does Nordic have any document highlighting the nordic process (SS,FF,TT) and Electrical limit for nRF5340 ? Dyson would like to be kept in loop for any changes in the wafer or  process.

• Regaring the NORDIC process (SS,FF,TT) this is used during the Development of a product but we have no document we can share.
