ARM (Apple M1 macs, RaspberryPI, etc) support

Hi,

I've been monitoring the posts regarding ARM support for the various Nordic tools and libraries - and its been almost two years now since the M1 were released, and still no progress on the matter.

To try and get things moving, I've created a PR in pc-ble-driver to enable ARM and ARM64 support pc-ble-driver PR 271 which until now have been completly ignored.

The pc-ble-driver is the basis for pc-ble-driver-py, pc-ble-driver-js and nrfutil which is even more critical.

I would like to know what is the timeline for getting nrftuil running properly on the M1 macs?

Yes, I am aware for the  workaround mentioned here: https://github.com/NordicSemiconductor/pc-nrfutil/issues/361 but this is ridiculus that after two years of M1 based macs ... this is still required.

Thanks for your feed back. I'm sure the team has received the same request before but I have reported your request again. 
We currently don't have a timeline on when ARM will be supported but it's definitely in the list.

Just to reiterate here - I've done all the "leg work".

The PR fixes the issue of having nrfutil on M1 macs.

All Nordic needs to do is to review it and approve it.

Sorry but this is already a month right now. The M1 is out since over a year. Could you please approve the PR to get a running version.
