nRF Toolbox iOS 5.0.6 - Github

Hello,

I am relatively new to iOS development and have now made the iOS version of the nRF Toolbox from the Github. After some initial difficulties, I was able to get the version running on iOS.

But one difference to the version from the AppStore ( also 5.0.6) I noticed:

- In the AppStore version I have access to ZIP files (Fireware update) which are also outside the app (eg in FileExplorer).
- In the version I compiled, I only have access to the zip files that are assigned to the app. As soon as I select a ZIP file e.g. from FileExplorer, I get an error message from the DFU.

I have already tried the following points:

- Adjustment of the Info.plist
- Switching between debug and release

Unfortunately, both did not lead to the desired result.

What could be the reason for this error? I hope you can help me.

Hello,

Is there a particular reason for why you are using nRF Toolbox? Have you tested out nRF Connect for mobile? 

I have not used the FileExplorer, but if you e.g. email the .zip folder to your phone, you can open it in nRF Connect (or nRF Toolbox) Have you tried this? Does that work for nRF Toolbox?

(You may need to find nRF Toolbox from the "More"-menu to the far right the first time you want to use the .zip file with nRF Toolbox.
