How long it would take to read 734kbytes from flash memory?

Hi all,

I am using NRF52840 and I am saving some data to the flash memory using fds. The data are 216 bytes in each file and there are 3400 files which is in total 734kbytes. I am using the fds_example to test and it seems like it can be done within 10 seconds?

I am wondering if there's quatatitive estimation of the fds read speed.

Hi

It's tough to give an exact estimate, as function calls in FDS are asynchronous which means that they are queued after the function call and will be performed after that call depending on priorities, etc.

Do you need the reads to be much faster than ~73.4 kbps?
