Switching from nrf52833 QFN to WLCSP

Hi!

We're considering switching between the mentioned packages, both in nRF52833.

I've looked around dev zone and product specificaiton pages, and could not find anything which would cause unexpected issues when switching between the two.
Is there anything I'm missing? are there issues to be expected when switching between QFN and WLCSP?

They seem to have the same Errata, and aside from the obvious differences (different GPIO number, different size, different reference circuitry etc) there is nothing to pay special attention to.

Could you verify this for me, I'd not want to miss on something big before approving this transition.

Hi

There shouldn't be any big problems changing from the QFN to WLCSP package apart from the "physical" differences. The two things I notice you don't mention yourself that is worth noting is that the WLCSP package variants are light sensitive, described closer here. And that we have a specific application note on WLCSP handling guidelines available here that is worth reading.
