Disconnecting after Ringing

Hi everyone,

I implement nrf5_SDK_17.0.2 ble_app_uart example and I use an android app like nRF_Connect to receive the uart data on my cell phone.

The problem is that when my cell phone starts ringing I lose my connection and I have to reconnect to the nrf52840 dongle.

What should I do?

Hello,

Does the phone's log, or the nRF device's log, say anything about why the connection was broken?
Did you make the phonecall using a bluetooth headset, so that the phone might have terminated the connection to your device because it was using the bluetooth adapter for the phonecall?

If the logs does not show anything about the broken connection it would be useful if you could capture a sniffer trace of the communication when this scenario happens. If the issue is with the phone's Bluetooth adapter you might have to go to a iOS / Android forum and ask, since there likely is little you can do about this from the peripherals side.
