Trouble getting SPI to work together with BLE

Hi,

I have been working on a setup where I connect a sensor (TI ADS1299) to the nRF5340-DK 2.0.0 using an SPI connection and transmit the recorded data using BLE. I have been able to get the SPI connection and the BLE connection working separately, but when combining the functionalities a problem arises. The program builds and programs fine, but when running it, the SPI connection does not seem to be working properly. All registers that store the data are left empty, instead of containing the measured data. The BLE connection does still work but only transmits zeros, probably as the result of the SPI connection not working as it should. 

What could be the problem here? Do the nrfx_SPIM and BLE functionalities interfere with each other? 

My setup:

PC: HP Zbook G4 Studio 

OS: Windows 10

nRF Connect for Desktop v3.10.0

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

Commenting out the BLE call is not enough to make it work. Only when the bluetooth is disabled in the kconfig, the proper values are received again via the SPI connection.

Thanks for confirming. Could you compare a transaction of when the BT stack is enabled against one where it's not and see if there are any differences in timing, etc? Also, if the PIN_CNF[<miso pin>] and PSEL.MISO configuration stays the same when you enable BLE.

I changed the MISO pin from P.0.10 to P0.29 and now it works. It seems like P.010 conflicts in some way with Bluetooth.

Yes, P0.10 gets assigned to the network core on startup when CONFIG_BOARD_ENABLE_CPUNET is set (i.e. when you enable the ble controller on the net core). I have used this codebase and updated with 1715.ADS1299.c changes, the code builds fine with nrf5340dk_nrf5340_cpuapp_ns. There are three warnings of CONFIG_BT_CTLR_DATA_LENGTH_MAX size and two other. I neglected those warnings as of and flashed the project to board. The logs at the console read as shown here.   Not sure where the error is occurring, appreciate  the help.
