Can't make NRF91DK debug nRF9160 custom board.

Hi All,

I have a nRF9160 custom board connected thru the P19 debug out connector to the NRF91DK board.

How do I 'make' the NRF91DK debug the custom board nRF9160 and not the on board nRF9160?

Also, When the NRF91DK is connected to our board it 'pull' the RESET line to 1V.

I'm using the version 2.3.3 of the programmer.

How is your external board powered?

It is very important that your external board is powered, with the same VDD IO as the nRF91-DK is configured to use. This can be set to either 1.8V or 3V using the "VDD_IO" dip switch right next to the power on/off switch.

Hi All,

Our board has external power source and it's own on board 3V regulator.

The nRF91-DK VDD_IO is set to 3V.

How does your custom board behave without the 10 pin SWD cable connected?

Are you certain that the cable is connected the correct way, or could it be that the pin header itself is mirrored on the board?
