Using NCS in Vscode can't flash the development board

Dear ,

I am using the nRF52833-DK development board with the NCS1.7.0 SDK.

Recently I just found that when clicking the flash option in the vscode, the IDE only builds the program but does not flash it to the board. I've also tried creating new application from sample but still with no luck.

One additional point was that the development board can be erased properly. When clicking erase and flash option, the development board is erased as expected but flash process is not started.

Could you please kindly help?

I have the exact same problem. The flash button worked last friday...

So i figured out it has something to do with the VS Code februrary update 1.65. If i rollback to VS code version 1.64.2 it works again :)
