how to merge ble_app_uart example to ble_app_template example

Hello,

hi i am using ble_app_template example for reading sensor data and now  i want to configure angle of gyro-meter in sensor so from nrf mobile application i need to send angle data to device for that i need to use ble_app_uart concept here right i don't know how to merge those things in ble_app_template. so anybody have idea on this or any reference please share to me it will be very useful to implement this. actually i am using nrf SDK version 17.0.2 of ble_app_template example.
