SES Zephyr Build Fail

Hello,

I am attempting to build my custom project on SES(Nordic Edition) V5.68 and now I am unable to build my project.

I get the following output:

I have already re-imported the project to see if that fixed the issue but it did not.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Tom,

Are you using an nRF52K or a custom board? Also, do you face this issue only in SES? Have you tried other platforms like VS Code and west?

I am using an nRF52K. I am developing on SES and have not tried building the project on other platforms. I would like to stick with SES for the time being.

Hi Tom,

I require some more information.

Could you specify the path where you placed your project folder?

What are the contents within your project folder?

Do you have the nRF Command Line Tools downloaded( the latest version)?

Do you have this issue when you try on other normal samples on the nRF52DK ?

Hi Priyanka,

The path is outside of my NCS SDK installation. 

My project is based on "peripheral_lbs", I've modified it to include custom source and header files.

I do have the latest nRF Command Line Tools.

This issue isn't seen when building other samples.

I did discover that if I define "CONFIG_BOOTLOADER_MCUBOOT=n" and delete my "pm_static.yml" file from my project directory, the project is able to build correctly. So it seems as if the issue is related to merging the hex files for MCUBoot?

Does it work if you set the CONFIG_BOOTLOADER_MCUBOOT=y and just delete the yaml file?

Hey Priyanka,

The same error occurs if I delete the yaml file and have CONFIG_BOOTLOADER_MCUBOOT=y.

I have tried deleting my NCS installation and re-installing it with no improvement.
